Lowell began acting in Dangerously Close, followed by one small role in Club Paradise, starring as Robin Williams. She appeared on the spinoff of Law & Order Law & Order Trial by Jury in 2005, and later back on the original series in 2022. Prior to taking on the role she was frustrated with her acting career. [9][10] She was married from 1989 until 1995 to actor Griffin Dunne and they have daughter, Hannah.
